Bringing Community Together
As the current Vice-Mayor for the city of Buellton, it has been a joy to serve the community and to work for the amazing people of this town. I am so proud of what we have achieved during my time on City Council:
✔ Increased funding to the Santa Ynez Valley Community Outreach program to ensure the continued service of our Meals on Wheels program
✔ Funded a record number of inaugural community arts and cultural heritage events celebrating the unique and diverse community of Buellton.
✔ Secured funding for our Santa Ynez River Trail to help connect our community to the Valley
✔ Invested in our community library to expand services to be enjoyed by all
✔ Working to renew and preserve our Urban Growth Boundary while providing thoughtful sites for future housing
That is why I am thrilled to declare my candidacy for Mayor. Together, we can continue to propel Buellton forward as a vibrant city, foster a compassionate community, and create a place we are all proud to call home.
I am here to serve you and our community and want to represent the interests of everyone. As Mayor, I will make sure that you feel represented and supported by your local government at the city, county, and state level.
Let’s bring our community together on November 5th and I would be honored to have the chance to serve as your Mayor!
Goals for our Community
My priorities as Mayor will be to:
✔ Support and cultivate the small town community that we all love about Buellton through thoughtful planning for businesses and housing.
✔ Work to bring community building locations to our town such as a bowling alley, movie theater, splash pad, and sports fields
✔ Strengthen and invest in the infrastructure, services, and amenities critical to families, children, and senior citizens
✔ Ensure that Buellton has a resilient and sustainable annual budget that reflects the values of our community
✔ Preserve the brilliance and biodiversity of our surrounding environment
✔ Engage our community to ensure that all our residents feel represented and supported by our City Council.
